Why I'm standing

I am representing many of those in our Rangitata community who care about environmental sustainability and social justice, because we, like all of Aotearoa, need our next government to take bold action on climate change, rebalance wealth and protect nature. With strong Green Party representation in parliament we can support farmers to transition to more sustainable methods, ensure everyone has enough to live on and building thriving, climate-resilient communities.

About me

I've been lucky enough to live, work and play in our community for more than 20 years. With a background in health and conservation, I've made connections with many different parts of the community however wellbeing of people and planet has been a common thread throughout my working, volunteering and governance roles.

My priorities
  1. Provide a guaranteed income of at least $385 a week for students and people who are out of work.
  2. Introduce the New Zealand Dental Service so everyone can see the dentist when they need to.
  3. Support farmers to transition to more sustainable agricultural production with financial mechanisms.
