Why I'm standing

I want Rangitata to be the best place to live, work, go to school and raise a family. It's been a privilege to have been a strong local voice in parliament, I've worked hard to represent the interests of everyone, including farmers, business owners, families and organisations. I want to build on the progress we've made and continue to advocate for you, for our community and for our potential.

About me

I'm a mother, grandmother, small business owner, former ECE teacher. I've lived in Rangitata for 27 years. I know the issues we face and the opportunities available. I love this region and our people and am proud to have been a strong local voice in Parliament for the last six years.

My priorities
  1. Ensure continued investment that supports resiliency as we face more climate related weather events.
  2. Support families with the cost of living through targeted support like free ECE for two year olds
  3. Continue to advocate for affordable and social housing so people can have security of a place to live.
