Why I'm standing

I want to champion the interests of rural and provincial New Zealand and be a strong advocate for all constituents across the vast and diverse Rangitīkei electorate. Rangitīkei has been good to me and my family, I want to serve and give something back. To make sure we have access to the best health, education and social services. And make sure people have a reason to stay - to grow up and grow old here.

About me

Rangitīkei has been my home for 26 years. It's where Rich and I raised our children Sam, Ruby and Sophie at Tunnel Hill, a sheep and beef farm in Turakina. I'm a farmer, co-founder of Coastal Lamb, Communications and Policy Advisor, JP and Community Trustee. I understand farming, agribusiness and the social fabric of the diverse nature of the communities that make up this fantastic region we call home.

My priorities
  1. Be part of a National government committed to rebuilding the economy to reduce the cost of living.
  2. Champion the interests of rural and provincial NZ - health, education, crime, mobile coverage, RAL.
  3. Promote policies which allow our farmers to get back to farming and our businesses to do business.
