Why I'm standing
I am running for TOP in Upper Harbour because I believe access to safe, adequate and affordable housing is essential if we want to start addressing poverty and inequality, and improve social stability and individual wellbeing. I am passionate about solutions that will improve people's lives, and genuinely support everyone to reach their potential and live a fulfilling life, and I see TOP's policies as our best chance of achieving those outcomes.
About me
Integrity and competence. These are two of my qualities that are essential to be an effective MP. I am a practising lawyer and former Crown prosecutor, and have completed my Master of Public Policy. My experience in the justice system and working with government agencies will make me a strong advocate for our community. I have grown up in the Upper Harbour electorate, and I would be honoured to serve it.
My priorities
- Rebalance our tax system to increase incomes, incentivise productive investment and end land-banking.
- Deliver more affordable homes through a $3 billion Community Housing Fund.
- Reduce climate emissions and transition to a climate-resilient society.
