Why I'm standing
I am a farmer and community minded person, first and foremost. I am very concerned our local communities are losing their voice and control of their destiny. Attack on rural NZ, private property rights and lack of common sense to tackle environmental issues plus the division created in society over the last 3 years are strong reasons for me to stand up for like minded New Zealanders this election.
About me
I am a genuine, caring person who has empathy for my community, so I believe I can represent their concerns in parliament. I also value common sense decision making when it comes to solving issues that affect everyday New Zealanders.
My priorities
- Focus on the cost of living. Unworkable regulations are adding to significant inflation.
- Improve access to healthcare. Long waiting lists and shortage of critical professional staff .
- Make workable tenancy laws for worker accomodation. Unworkable tenancy laws are a deterrent to renting and favour Airbnb.
