Why I'm standing

After 12 years on the Kaipātiki Local Board, I am committed to the North Shore and will continue to stand up for our community while focusing on the big issues facing our city. Connecting my community is what I do best, solving problems and supporting organisations to achieve their purpose. My intention as your Councillor is to collaborate with the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and all Councillors to deliver priorities with the urgency that our community deserve.

About me

My husband Dave and I live in Milford with our two teenagers. I bring strong business acumen from a successful career in advertising as well as highly competent governance skills having served on numerous boards including North Harbour Rugby and Westlake Boys. During my time on the Local Board I have built relationships, advocated for our community, invested in new assets and supported our sports clubs, community partners and businesses.

My priorities
  1. Speed up infrastructure including drinking water, waste and flood management investment into the North Shore.
  2. Increase sport and recreation investment focused on youth well-being and greater local employment.
  3. Support Mayor Wayne Brown - fix Auckland, stop wasting money, care for the environment and manage Auckland Transport.
