Why I'm standing

I have a cloak of responsibility on my back made up of all the endangered species, dirty swimming holes and a vision for a much cleaner and healthier future. I am motivated by hard work (when the going gets tough, I get going). My skill with teams and knowledge of environmental policy and management, including energy and transport. I know I can make a positive difference to this council in the difficult term ahead.

About me

I am here for the people who want a better environment for their children. It has become clear that the business-as-usual model many politicians propose does nothing for the vast number of people who are working over 40 hours a week to get by. We all deserve clean water out of the tap and swimming spots in the heat of summer that are not toxic with algae.

My priorities
  1. Continue the critical work of reducing nitrates in our drinking water - we know what the causes are.
  2. Ensure water consent holders exhibit good practices that save water. Water allocation is strategic.
  3. Ensure sound decisions are made for public mobility and transport.
