Why I'm standing

With your vote, I will protect Canterbury's special places and support a more sustainable regional economy – for you, your family, and your future.

About me

For over 20 years, I've worked to restore our rivers and keep our drinking water safe. I started as a DOC Ranger, and became a National Manager in their aquatic leadership team. I spent six years at ECan as a Pollution Prevention Officer, working directly with farmers and factories to stop pollution at its source, and significantly improved the health of the Heathcote River. I understand how ECan works and will hit the ground running.

My priorities
  1. Protect clean drinking water and swimmable rivers.
  2. Build a resilient, thriving economy and safeguard nature through diversifying our rural land use.
  3. Guide Canterbury through the central government reforms to safeguard our home and freshwater.
