Why I'm standing

I am running because Kaipara's core services have been neglected for far too long. As a local GP and clinical director, I've witnessed firsthand how bureaucracy and wasted spending affect families and communities. My community advocacy, leading meetings, petitions and submissions, has shown me the need for real-world solutions. I want council to listen better, spend wisely and restore what matters most to Kaipara residents.

About me

I am a GP and clinical director with 25 years' experience, living and working in Kaipara nearly a decade. I listen closely, unite people and act on what matters most to our community. My background in leading clinics and community advocacy has given me practical skills in problem-solving, fairness and responsible spending. I am committed to delivering real results for Kaipara through strong local connections and genuine care for residents.

My priorities
  1. Fix roads, drains and water, safe, reliable infrastructure is crucial daily for Kaipara.
  2. Cut council waste and keep rates low so families and businesses can afford to grow.
  3. Cut red tape for homes and businesses and make consents faster so Kaipara can thrive.
