Why I'm standing

I'm running because I care about Kaipara and the people who live here. I've seen first-hand the effort and dedication our communities put in, and I want to bring that same commitment to the council table. My motivation is simple, to listen, to be fair, and to make decisions that put locals first.

About me

I will make a good representative because I'm practical, fair, and used to working with people from all walks of life. My career in hospitality, tourism and driving has taught me to listen and solve problems, while my years in Mangawhai have kept me closely connected to the community. I value honesty, respect and straight talking, and I want to bring those qualities to the council table on behalf of locals.

My priorities
  1. Fix roads and infrastructure properly, not patch jobs – safer, stronger networks for Kaipara.
  2. Manage growth wisely to protect the character of our towns and the environment we value.
  3. Make council open and honest so locals are heard and decisions are made with transparency.
