Why I'm standing

I'm a passionate Waikanae local, a proven community advocate, and a dedicated volunteer focussed on putting Waikanae first. Being on council would allow me to continue that work.

About me

I think we need people who are extremely flexible thinkers who can challenge and test and who can think outside the box. Look for innovative solutions. Be willing to compromise. I think we need people who can collaborate and work things through. After all, you're only one vote on council. I believe with my experience on large government high-profile projects and my work in the community, I have those attributes.

My priorities
  1. Build a second rail crossing for Waikanae because the current one is a single point of failure.
  2. Improve infrastructure at Waikanae beach including kerb and channel, footpaths and street lighting.
  3. Provide more facilities in Waikanae for youth to enable them to feel part of and engage with the community.
