Why I'm standing

I am sick of continual council rates increases. Early this year I petitioned government to cap rates to the rate of inflation. I would do my best to push for quality, affordable council services that take into consideration the impact council cost increases are having on household budgets and living affordability if elected to the community board.

About me

I have over 37 years business experience, including service on the board of the Aviation Industry Association from 1994 to 2013, and a background in strategy design and innovation. I believe I can bring valuable skills to the community board.

My priorities
  1. Keep our district affordable for people to live here.
  2. Ensure that council knows that rural communities matter just as much as bigger towns.
  3. Work to provide a real sense of community to support residents of all ages.
