Why I'm standing

I'm running for council because I care about Marlborough, our people, our diverse communities and our beautiful whenua. This is the place we choose to raise our family, where I have worked alongside rangatahi, and seen the strength of kotahitanga when we come together. For me, it's about looking after each other and te taiao, so Marlborough remains a place where both people and nature thrive together, now and for generations to come.

About me

From lifeguarding and junior surf co-ordinating to founding Skate Marlborough, I've worked to create safe, empowering spaces for people. Facilitating at nature school has shown me the power of supporting rangatahi to lead, while co-leading our local Green branch has built my governance and strategy skills. Across these roles I've learned how to listen, organise and bring people together. I'll bring that same energy and integrity, with a focus on community and environment to council.

My priorities
  1. Support affordable homes and wraparound support to tackle homelessness and inequity.
  2. Commit to a carbon neutral council by 2030 with evidence-based action and clear reporting.
  3. Strengthen community voice by creating genuine pathways for rangatahi and the often unheard.
