Why I'm standing

I am heavily involved in community groups in the Marlborough district and I want to ensure our people and communities are well-served by decisionmakers. Marlborough is a great place and I want to do my bit to make sure all our people can benefit from its resources and advantages. That's really important, particularly as central government pulls out of the regions.

About me

My previous careers have been working nationally and internationally with ministers and organisations, and I have a lot of experience dealing with issues and community engagement. I work with many businesses, not-for-profits, and charities in Marlborough, and I would like to use my skills to help the district. I consult, communicate, and listen to people and take their views into account in decision-making. I want to do my bit to help all of Marlborough thrive.

My priorities
  1. Ensure council works as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  2. Find new ways to do things – build back better, as promised after COVID.
  3. Keep Marlborough successful, attractive and affordable for all.
