Why I'm standing

I love our Northward, the best in Taranaki. I am motivated by giving a platform for bringing people together to build on what we have for future generations. I remain dissatisfied that we have got there as there is much more that we can achieve. We are better together, reaching our targets, supporting each other and giving each other the room to articulate what they want to see for themselves and family.

About me

I have a history of working with a wide group of people. I enjoy building teams so that much more can be achieved. As chair of the community board, I supported bringing people to our table that can build into our vision of what our community should look like. I enjoy empowering people to have their own vision regardless of mine so that together we are better.

My priorities
  1. Complete Northward projects that have been started and stay at the table until completion.
  2. Complete a consulted spatial plan for Waitara and start spatial plans for all.
  3. Recognise that reduced council projects do not bring rate relief but work hard to get value.
