Why I'm standing

I've lived in the Ōrākei ward for over 30 years, raised my family here, and I know the challenges our community faces. I care deeply about ensuring our suburbs remain a safe, liveable and welcoming. Too often, the basics are neglected while costs rise. I'm running to bring fresh energy, accountability and a strong practical voice to the board so local families feel heard and get real value for their rates. Please vote for me.

About me

I bring a fresh perspective to the board as a former lawyer and current local business owner with proven experience solving problems and delivering results. I offer practical skills, strong community connections and a commitment to fairness, transparency and strong local advocacy. I care deeply about our area and will work hard to ensure ratepayers get value for their money. As your ACT local candidate, I will provide disciplined, accountable leadership that puts residents first.

My priorities
  1. Advocate better water management and strong flood protection and oppose plans to give up the coastline.
  2. Support fixing local roads and reducing congestion so people can travel safely and efficiently.
  3. Back safe, accessible parks and community hubs that deliver real value for ratepayers and families.
