The Ōrākei Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. Why I'm standing
I am running because I believe our community deserves better from council. Too often the basics are neglected while money and energy go elsewhere. I want to bring practical solutions, strong accountability, and a focus on delivering results that matter. My motivation is simple: to serve the community and make local government work for people.

I will make a good representative because I bring strong leadership, problem-solving skills and a commitment to accountability. My professional experience in business has prepared me to analyse issues, ask tough questions and ensure decisions are made transparently. I value fairness, efficiency and responsibility, and I will work constructively to make sure council delivers on what matters.
My priorities
- Cut council waste and keep rates low by focusing only on essential local services.
- Fix basics such as repairing roads, drains and water networks that households rely on.
- Cut red tape so homes and businesses can grow affordably without council delays.
