Why I'm standing

It's time for change. I am passionate about standing up for the people of Papakura and committed to providing strong representation, and effective advocacy. This is my opportunity to give back, get involved, and help build a safe, vibrant, and supportive community with leadership that listens and acts.

About me

I have extensive governance experience in the sport and recreation sector, with a focus on building the capacity and capability of volunteer organisations. I have contributed to a range of community-driven CAPEX projects in Counties Manukau, am skilled in report writing to local boards, and I believe I am well-suited to making informed decisions having had work in council for 21 years in a variety of roles.

My priorities
  1. Secure local democracy by reading and fully understanding reports.
  2. Improve housing and planning which are not in good shape and address parking as a major issue.
  3. Maintain and improve recreation and culture by working to maintain and improve community assets.
