Why I'm standing

I am standing again because I care deeply about this place and its people. Growth, housing and infrastructure are big challenges – but with good decisions I believe we can protect what makes our communities unique while planning for the future. I bring care, courage and clarity to the role, listening to people, asking hard questions and making balanced choices. I want to keep serving as a strong voice at the table for the Arrowtown–Kawarau ward.

About me

I believe informed decision making takes hard work. I show up well prepared and I make time to connect with people because I believe thriving together is a full-time job. I am not reliant on the role and I believe in facing the challenges we have with courage and care. I have called Queenstown home most of my adult life. My HR background means I am used to working with complexity and varying points of view, discovering solutions to hard problems together.

My priorities
  1. Lead with integrity by ensuring what we think, say and do line up as integrated big picture thinking.
  2. Build trust because people do not care how much they know until they know how much you care.
  3. Communicate with care, courage and clarity through frank, honest dialogue that is transparent and always accountable.
