Why I'm standing

I have lived in Queenstown for most of the last 28 years and continue to see a number of unique challenges facing our district. I am offering my skills and training as a professional engineer and my time as a resident and ratepayer to contribute towards the solutions to these challenges.

About me

I have been involved with a number community organisations over many years and am used to working with a diverse range of people. In my first term as a councillor I have been able to put in the time and effort required to get up to speed with the issues we face and to make sound decisions. I am prepared to listen with an open mind to the concerns of our communities.

My priorities
  1. Work as part of a team to arrive at decisions that provide the best outcomes for the district.
  2. Enable the completion of the Jack's Point to Frankton A7 cycle route.
  3. Listen to the concerns of the community and consider input from across the Queenstown Lakes district.
