Why I'm standing

I'm running because the decisions we make now shape the community my kids will inherit. Local government is complex, slow, and often misunderstood, but it matters deeply. Every decision is a trade-off, if you please one sector, you'll upset another. I've seen what happens when hard calls are ducked and problems pile up. My motivation is simple: don't stuff it up for the next generation. That means doing the work, not chasing the headlines.

About me

I'll make a good representative because I've been a local for 25 years, as a parent, business owner, councillor, and community volunteer. I know what it's like to juggle family, work, and community life here. I'm straight-up, analytical, and not afraid of hard conversations. My approach is evidence first, ALL people always. I can handle pressure when decisions get messy, and I'm committed to fairness and accountability, representing everyone, not just the loudest voices.

My priorities
  1. Invest in core infrastructure, because delaying only makes problems bigger and more expensive later.
  2. Support housing options so locals can live and work here, keeping the community strong and connected.
  3. Introduce new council finances to fund essentials fairly, because today's debt is tomorrow's burden.
