Why I'm standing

I am offering my governance skills and experience to give back to the community that helped raise me. I want to see the South Waikato thrive and prosper well into the future.

About me

I have already served as the youngest Taranaki Regional Councillor and one of two women on that council. I have the relevant experience, skills and passion for community as demonstrated through my involvement in community arts and conservation. As an environmental scientist and advocate, I am evidence-based, future-focused and community-minded. I really know what the political environment is like and what battles are worth fighting.

My priorities
  1. Collaborate and engage with the community to help build back the community's trust.
  2. Actively maintain community assets to ensure future generations do not miss out on them.
  3. Plant pockets of native vegetation to ensure climate resilience and wildlife corridors.
