Why I'm standing

Upper Harbour is an amazing and beautiful place. It is growing really fast and needs good planning. Communities need great facilities so they can grow and everyone can live fulfilled lives. I believe that our environment is incredibly important, we need to prepare for climate change and we need to be smart with the way we spend our finances. Our communities are often developed such that walking and cycling is too hard, and this needs to change.

About me

I grew up on the North Shore and currently live in Paremoremo. I live in our area. I have already served two terms on the board and have driven good results. I am a good listener, I understand and respect diverse opinions and I communicate well. I am a chartered accountant. I volunteer for many organisations, ranging from treasurer roles to coaching at sports clubs. Volunteers are the heart of the community and need support.

My priorities
  1. Replace the Albany Library, which is too small, with a new library and community hub.
  2. Build new northwest assets, eg pool in the northwest, Whenuapai community centre and a pump track.
  3. Ensure safety around schools so that children can walk and cycle safely.
