Why I'm standing

I'm deeply concerned about political delays. Climate change is a proven threat – we're already encountering escalating disasters, economic shocks, under-prepared emergency responses, native species extinctions, development overtaking farms, failing infrastructure and increasing costs. Council needs courageous, collaborative governance and a 100-year strategic approach including proactive planning, future-proof investment, resilient infrastructure, advocacy for diverse communities' needs and support for youth, disabled, arts, community and environment. Let's have the hard conversations and collaborate to deliver meaningful results for climate, council and community.

About me

Thank you for trusting me to honestly represent our communities and make the hard decisions to help future-proof our city on the Upper Harbour Local Board since 2022. I live to serve. I'm also a volunteer Scout leader with more than nine years' experience and a social entrepreneur delivering employment and healthier housing for over ten years. I understand why 'Supercity' is inefficient after seven years in finance, a Massey University economics degree, and five years of Auckland Council project management.

My priorities
  1. Collaborate towards a 100-year strategic approach for Auckland and listen to what our communities need.
  2. Proactively plan, invest wisely and build local, resilient, climate-safe, future-proof infrastructure.
  3. Advocate for diverse communities' needs and support youth, disabled, arts, community and environment.
