Why I'm standing

I want to see Christchurch realise its potential to be one of the most liveable, sustainable and vibrant cities in the world. Christchurch has so much inherent promise and that's the reason we've decided to raise our family here, but we're clearly facing a series of challenges and transitions ahead of us. This will require progressive thinking along with community leaders with the right aptitude to assist us through our crucial next chapter.

About me

I'm a degree-qualified project manager and successful business leader, so will bring governance experience, financial prudence and logical thinking into the role of a local elected representative. I'll always in my nature to approach issues with a positive and solutions-oriented approach. Additionally I bring a strong social conscience and a history of volunteerism, through Rotary, youth mentoring, and local conservation efforts in the Port Hills.

My priorities
  1. Ensure every child can safely walk, bike or scooter to their nearest school by removing barriers.
  2. Deliver the Port Hills plan reducing fire risk, adding natives and limiting sediment migration.
  3. Complete major cycleways alongside important secondary networks, promoting active transport.
