Why I'm standing

I initially stood because I wanted to improve this feedback loop between the council and residents - I had become frustrated with enquiries seeming to fall through the cracks. I'm happy that this now seems to be improving, and my next goal to help encourage more oneness between council and community. We are the same thing! We have to all work together.

About me

I have three years experience as a Community Board Member, and I study the issues fastidiously - including all of the reports, submissions and often site visits. I live in the ward, I understand the issues, and I'm in it for the right reasons.

My priorities
  1. Oppose asset sales so that local benefits and rates offset are not lost.
  2. Support neighbourhoods' tidiness and appearance because scenes of disorder invite disorder.
  3. Support safety initiatives like neighbourhood police because everyone needs help with the small stuff.
