Why I'm standing

I have had a role as a community board member since 2020 that has shown me the true value of local voices in shaping our neighbourhoods. I am seeking re-election because I believe Christchurch thrives when it is safe, inclusive, sustainable and connected. I want every decision to reflect the needs of all including youth, seniors and people of all abilities. I am committed to being an approachable, proactive voice who listens, acts with purpose and delivers fair, future-focused growth.

About me

I bring professional experience, community involvement and a strong commitment to people in this role. I have served as a community board member since 2020, working closely with residents and local groups to deliver outcomes. I am approachable, a good listener and follow through with action. I have a background in education and business, bringing analytical and communication skills, and as a local resident and parent, I am deeply connected to our community.

My priorities
  1. Protect Christchurch's strategic public assets – port, airport, Orion and Enable – from privatisation.
  2. Restore the CBD shuttle, making the city centre more accessible and vibrant for all.
  3. Support well-designed, people-focused housing intensification that meets population growth.
