Why I'm standing

I have found it a privilege to serve the community on the Wairoa District Council over the past three years. I want to see some key projects through to completion. These include North Clyde flood protection, ensuring flood-impacted council infrastructure receives the best outcomes, ensuring the council's involvement in supporting a clear operational plan for the Wairoa River mouth, and developing sustainable waste management for our district.

About me

I have a life deeply embedded in Wairoa, where I actively contribute to business, economic and community development initiatives. I support rural communities and local businesses, ensuring their concerns are heard. My husband and I are proud to live in Wairoa. Our business revolves around the primary sector, both agriculture and horticulture. I am a trustee of the Wairoa Young Achievers Trust (WYAT) and have been involved in securing funding for several impactful community projects.
