Why I'm standing

I want to continue the work of the past three years where I have worked in the best interest of the Burwood area and the east as a whole. I have had a major focus on keeping people informed of local issues, road works and consultation items, but more importantly taking note of resident feedback and voting accordingly. I want to continue to make a difference in our community.

About me

I have experience leading teams and organisations as highlighted by coaching the NZ Wheel Blacks to the 2020 Paralympics and managing a manufacturing business for over 10 years. This has helped me to make practical, commercially sensible decisions over this past community board term. I have also challenged CCC staff when needed and voted against speed bumps at intersections with traffic lights.

My priorities
  1. Stop speed bumps being put in at intersections with traffic lights.
  2. Continue to get infrastructure repaired, replaced and upgraded.
  3. Build a new community facility in the north of our ward where there is an identified network gap.
