Why I'm standing

I am standing for council because I enjoy finding ways to improve things. I love politics and enjoy the challenge of finding ways to make our district better for as many as possible.

About me

I will make a good elected member because I care when things aren't running as they should. I am an empathetic person which motivates me to solve problems people have as a collective district or as individuals. I have a low tolerance for bureaucracy, drama, lies and over-spending.

My priorities
  1. Prioritise minimising rate increases as changing high rates needs continual attention.
  2. Ensure the elected team works well together as a productive team and stays on task.
  3. Minimise spending on 'nice-to-have' projects as ratepayers shouldn't have to fund many things.
