Why I'm standing

I love our great district and our people. I want to be at the decision-making table to be the voice of the ratepayers and community members. I want to make decisions for our district that benefit the majority and not just a select few, whilst keeping a tight grip on spending to achieve minimal rate increases.

About me

I am currently employed by the council in the property and facilities department and, within my three years of service working in the engine room of the council machine, I believe it is now time for a tune up. I see the benefit of working on the inside to challenge the council from the outside.

My priorities
  1. Pause all new non-core service programmes and projects for up to twelve months.
  2. Tighten council spending on all non-core services and advocate cutting costs in the operational side.
  3. Get the council back to basics by delivering core quality services as a priority every time.
