Why I'm standing

I'm running because I believe Wānaka–Upper Clutha is an extraordinary place, and keeping it that way takes care, collaboration, and forward thinking. After being welcomed so warmly into the community, I want to give back — bringing my skills, energy, and global experience to help tackle challenges and seize opportunities. I'm committed to listening, learning, and working alongside others to protect what's special here and ensure it thrives for generations to come.

About me

I'm a pragmatic, solutions-focused person who values listening, learning, and working collaboratively. With 20+ years of international business and communications experience, I bring strategic thinking and the ability to navigate complex challenges. A long-time action sports advocate and small business owner, I understand persistence, creativity, and the importance of community-led decisions. I'm committed to protecting what makes this region special while ensuring it thrives for future generations.

My priorities
  1. Improve access to public health services, particularly mental health.
  2. Foster and attract creative, non-extractive and non-tourism businesses.
  3. Protect and restore the quality of our waterways.
