Why I'm standing

I am standing for council because Wellington can become a world-leading city where nature thrives and we are recognised for our groundbreaking climate and environmental solutions. I believe in the power of our community to create a vibrant, innovative, and sustainable city for everyone.

About me

I am an experienced councillor. I'm proud to have served as the deputy mayor. I have worked hard with my local communities and council to find solutions to problems together. I have worked alongside mana whenua to honour our relationship and align our strategies. For 20 years, I founded and ran a pioneering eco-fashion label and local business. Subsequently, I spent five years helping other businesses develop their sustainability practices through the Sustainable Business Network.

My priorities
  1. Put people first with inner-city regeneration projects and by providing more transport options.
  2. Make Wellington the centre of tech and innovation to revitalise the local economy.
  3. Strengthen community and environment programmes to create a world-leading nature capital.
