Why I'm standing

I imagine a community where everything clicks, where people feel confident, connected and able to bring their best to work, play and life. I am running because I believe Whakatāne has what it takes to thrive in ways that make life richer for everyone. My goal is to spark that momentum, bring people together and create the conditions for us all to flourish.

About me

I bring two decades of experience turning challenges into practical solutions, from leading large operations internationally to helping local businesses grow and starting community projects here. I create systems that let people do their best work without unnecessary complexity. My background in streamlining, scaling and leading diverse teams means I can work effectively with people from all walks of life to get meaningful results.

My priorities
  1. Create events locals love and visitors celebrate, bringing income and pride back to the community.
  2. Inspire talent to stay in Whakatāne so bold ideas create jobs, income and new opportunities here.
  3. Grow work and skills for all ages, building year-round opportunities and stronger local incomes.
