Why I'm standing

I have spent years volunteering on local projects, and while I was not planning to run, community members encouraged me to stand. I believe Whangārei has the people, ideas and potential to thrive, but too often we lack the resources or follow-through to make it happen. I am running to help turn good ideas into real, lasting improvements for our district.

About me

I am good at spotting what works and making sure we put our resources there. I look for ways to get the best value for money without cutting corners, and I am not afraid to ask if something is worth the cost. My work with community groups and events has proven how we will turn good ideas into real results, and I will bring that same practical, transparent approach to council.

My priorities
  1. Get housing built and breathe life back into the heart of the city.
  2. Make it easy, safe and fun to get around and get more for every dollar spent.
  3. Back communities' big ideas with the right tools, not red tape.
