Why I'm standing

I've lived, worked and gone to school in Albert-Eden community for most of my life. I love our community and hope to continue to serve it. I want to build a safe, healthy, connected and thriving community. I want to represent the community's needs and desires, and believe that Local Boards should be about serving people not political agendas.

About me

I currently have the privilege of serving as Deputy Chair of the Albert-Eden Local Board. I'm the only candidate who has served on the Local Board this term, so have valuable knowledge about what the Local Board has worked on and has wanted to achieve. Previously I have worked predominantly in the for-purpose sector. I have extensive people and resource management skills, as well as efficient spending of limited budgets.

My priorities
  1. Provision of green space, facilities and services for our growing and more intensified population.
  2. Sensible solutions for public transport, bikes, cars and parking.
  3. Community-led decision making. Ensuring we listen to what is important to them.
