Prioritise investment into Auckland's water storage and incentivise domestic tank water storage to ensure reliable safe water supply.
Retain public ownership and access of existing council-owned services and utilities.
Support greater accountability for all council agencies (including council-controlled organisations) to the communities they serve.
Greater promotion and access to resource recovery options for all residents, encouraging a "landfill last" mindset.
Oppose the Three Waters government takeover and the messy governance structure.
Support watercare programme to fix overflows into our harbours.
Push for home composting where practical.
Ensure good access to sustainable resource recovery options for residents and organisations in the isthmus area.
Oppose privatisation of existing council-owned services and utilities.
Support CCOs and other agencies to be more accountable to communities, mana whenua and local boards.
