Vincent Ward
The Central Otago District Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of 11 councillors and the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the district). Five councillors will be elected from the Vincent ward. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I want to be in a position to help people throughout our community.

About me

I am very approachable and sympathetic to any community members who are facing a problem.

My priorities
  1. Ensure Central Stories Museum and Art Gallery has adequate funding to be able to continue to provide a first-class service.
  2. Encourage the development of retirement villages so that the elderly can continue to live here.
  3. Support the development of recreational facilities such as bike trails and public parks.
