Why I'm standing

I stand for Horowhenua District Council to be a part of creating a brighter future. After growing up in Levin, falling in love, raising a family, spending my working career leading teams in finance, my weekends coaching at Donnelly park and volunteering for St John. I'm ready to put my hand up and stand up to be the kind of councillor my kids can be proud of and their kids can be thankful for.

About me

I offer strong financial and business acumen, have confidence in my ability to weigh up community needs with financial sustainability, balance priorities, ask the tough questions and make sound decisions. We need councillors from all walks of life and different expertise. Councillors that can listen and really hear what people are saying. Our councillors must be open-minded enough to learn all the time. I'm putting my hand up to stand up for my home.

My priorities
  1. Community wellbeing should be at the heart of all decisions and add to the liveability of our rohe.
  2. Manage our finances to fund our growth while still fixing our current infrastructure issues.
  3. Work collaboratively with elected officials and community to create a brighter future together.
