Why I'm standing

I'm an active community person and I have built many trusted relationships in Kawerau. I want to be the vessel that people can utilise to be heard at the council table.

About me

I am a local girl, born and raised in Kawerau. I have never left and I don't intend to. I'm a local business owner caring for adults with disabilities, and I'm a director of the nonprofit organisation Koha ki Kawerau which supports whānau in need. I also provide underprivileged children with Christmas gifts in December. It's fair to say, when I see the need in our community, I will create a solution!

My priorities
  1. Continue to build trusted relationships within the community through my work.
  2. Reveal the quiet voices at the council table and authorise them to be heard.
  3. Find solutions for those who face everyday struggles, ie disability and poverty.
