Why I'm standing

I'm known in the Māngere Bridge Community for making things happen. I volunteer for Community Patrol and Neighbourhood Support and these roles have opened my eyes to the challenges we are facing. I regularly liaise with police to feedback community issues and I hold them accountable for the promises they make. As a project manager, business owner and web developer, I bring organisational and technical expertise to everything I do plus sheer grit and trustworthiness.

About me

When I see a need in the community, I address it. I'm a huge advocate for justice, for creating change, and for improving people's sense of wellbeing and safety. I believe that my skills in advocacy, problem-solving, organisation, and confidence in holding people accountable are all necessary in this role. I was nominated for Good Sorts for creating not for profit website (Community Cam NZ).

My priorities
  1. Community safety is my biggest passion – funding for Community Patrol and Neighbourhood Support.
  2. Youth centre – safe secure space with sports zone, mentors/role models, CV + budgeting support.
  3. Stricter enforcement around roaming and chained dogs.
