Why I'm standing

I see the need for more positive male role models in our community, so that young men in Māngere have males that they can aspire to be like when they grow up, instead of conforming to the typical dysfunctional examples we usually see.

About me

I was born and raised here in Māngere and exposed to the same life style that most young men here experience. However, I used the harsh conditions of my reality to strengthen my character. This is what I want to teach young men in my community, as a ambassador for young men here in Māngere.

My priorities
  1. Reduce the number of alcohol stores in Māngere.
  2. Ensure alcohol and cigarette products are not openly displayed in stores.
  3. Increase prices for alcohol and cigarette products.
