Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board

The Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of seven members.     Work with hau kāinga, mana whenua and community groups to care for our environment including through Pest Free Ihumātao & Pest Free Urban South work.

  • Work with families in Māngere to manage the water quality of natural resources around them by organising neighborhood cleans.

    Work with businesses in Māngere to increase water quality of natural resources in the community by reducing light, air and waste pollution.
