Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board

The Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of seven members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Work with local businesses to provide youth between ages of 12-18 with menial work experience (minimal 1hr of work p/d, paid) during school.

  • Maximise the role of the new economic broker to provide information, connections and opportunities for local people and local business.

    Support our small and medium, Maōri and Pacific local businesses to emerge from Covid sound and flourishing.

    Leverage large infrastructure projects for local benefits, rapid transit to the airport can offer jobs and attract visitors to town centres.
