Why I'm standing

I think members of our community have a lot of valid things to say and a lot of great ideas. You deserve a Community Board that can work together, listen to you, and be your advocate. We have great ideas, we yarn about them around the table, but then they go no further. Positive engagement between the board and community is the starting point to getting these great ideas effectively through to where it matters.

About me

My values, and those I hold in high regard of others is honesty, being respectful, fairness and hard working. While being a Mum to three busy children, I also work part time as a Chartered Accountant. I am actively involved in our community, having previously been on the Taieri Parents Centre committee and currently sit on our school's Board of Trustees and Friends of the School Committee.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for an upgrade to our stormwater system so we can mitigate future flooding.
  2. Work with Waka Kotahi to upgrade the Gordon Road, Gladstone Road intersection for better flow.
  3. Advocate for a heavy traffic by pass for Mosgiel, for a safer main street.
