Why I'm standing

Kia ora to the Mosgiel-Taieri community. My name is Kimberlee Wallace, and it is an absolute pleasure to stand for an advocacy role on our local community board. I was born and raised in Christchurch, and I have chosen the Taieri to bring up my children and continue to lay my family roots in the plains. I live in Mosgiel and love the community feel and acceptance I have received.

About me

My vocational journey starts from service in the Army, followed by 14 years working in various roles for Corrections inside the prisons and management for Community Corrections. In 2018 I started working within the social housing sector. It would be fair to say that I am a public servant and I enjoy serving the public and the community.

My priorities
  1. Establish and strengthen meaningful relationship with the council.
  2. Community Development. Youth initiatives and collaboration to achieve aspirations.
  3. Infrastructure to support road improvements with good consultation prior.
