Why I'm standing
I come from a family that has provided service to this district for over 50 years through education, coaching or local government, Kaitaki-Ngamotu is my home! I believe I have the right balance of pride, pragmatism and vision to continue the great work of the people that have gone before us. In ensuring we make this an awesome place to live for generations to come.
About me
I was born in New Plymouth. I have taught and coached thousands of students and now of three years of local government experience. I have a deep understanding of the social and financial pressures individuals and families are under. But also have an understanding of what people need and want in their lives to feel fulfilled. Our local people are very proud of their district. We must not let them down.
My priorities
- Drive the CBD strategy.
- Help drive the Tuparikino Active Community Hub development.
- Work with the Taranaki Regional Council in setting up more frequent and better utilised public transport services.
