Why I'm standing

I am passionate about my region and want to play my part in its governance.

About me

I am a cut-to-the-chase nature, who does not cope with waffle. I require sound science and other decision-making justification to support decisions, and they must be balanced.

My priorities
  1. Ensuring the new land and water plan is balanced and is fit for purpose for Otago.
  2. That water quality is maintained and improved in our rivers, along with sustainable allocation.
  3. That Otago Regional Council is prudent and cost-effective in all it does. Rates increases are justified and challenged.
