Papatoetoe Subdivision
The Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of seven members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. Four members will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

I love living in Papatoetoe and I want to do my best to advocate for my community and make sure I listen to all the sections of our community and take that voice to the decision makign table.

About me

I have lived in Papatoetoe all my life and our children were brought up in Papatoetoe. I belong to a number of community groups and I often work in local kindergartens so have a good feel for what is happening in our community.

My priorities
  1. Ensure that all our community benefits from local facilities and services are provided by locals.
  2. Protecting the environment and mitigating climate change such as planting trees.
  3. Local procurement and promoting youth employment.
