The Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board is one of 21 local boards in Auckland. The local board makes a plan for your area and decides on local issues, activities and facilities. It also oversees council services and facilities in your area, including libraries and parks. The local board is made up of seven members. Members are elected to represent different subdivisions within the local board area. Four members will be elected from your area. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I have shown that am a team player. I gathered support from four other less high-profile mayoral candidates and worked together to get our voices heard.

My priorities

Top priority is always the animals. I will abolish greyhound racing at the Manukau Sports Bowl.
All unwanted animal control to use non-lethal means only.
All sustainability education to promote compassionate conservation and respect for all life.
